Long Beach Cottage, (romantic couple’s getaway)

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night as a little escape from our normal routine, and it was absolutely perfect. The bungalow is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly romantic. The views of the Chesapeake Bay were amazing — we watched both the sunset and sunrise from the deck and they were truly picturesque.The place itself was spotless and thoughtfully set up. The small touches really stood out — robes, slippers, and snacks were waiting for us, which made it feel extra welcoming. We also loved relaxing by the fireplace and spending time in the hot tub while looking out at the water. It truly couldn't have been more perfect. Check-in was easy and the owners were kind enough to allow us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Even though we only stayed one night, it was exactly the relaxing reset we were hoping for.This is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, anniversary trip, or couples weekend away. We don’t live far away, and we would absolutely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time. Beautiful, clean, and all the comforts of home. Loved the beach and swimming in front of the property! We didn’t get to use the hot tub, kayaks and paddle boats but it’s wonderful to have for those who would like them, or if we had more time. We love the Wellwood and Backfin Blues for dining. Dave and Barb are wonderful hosts that reached out during stay. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage. Thank you for hosting us!

We came to celebrate our anniversary. It was a beautiful place, right on the water. It was very clean and there were plenty of things to do. We enjoyed the hot tub, the kayaks, and the couples games inside. We had Woody’s tacos and it was very good. The next morning we had coffee on the patio, and the water hitting the shore was music to my ears! The neighbors were a little too curious, but that’s alright, it was still a perfect stay. We will definitely be back. I give it 5 stars.
