Roundtop Mansion on 135 Acre Estate with Indoor Pool

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at Roundtop Mansion in Wrightsville. The house itself is magnificent, but it was all the thoughtful touches that made our retreat unforgettable. The kitchen may be small, but it had everything we needed — plus multiple refrigerators and dishwashers, which made group meals easy. We loved that they provided paper products, coffees, teas, and a great little coffee area.The home was spotless, with plenty of clean towels, beach towels, and lots of cozy throw blankets. The laundry room with two washers and two dryers was a huge help. The pool was fantastic, and the observatory at the top of the house offered amazing views we’ll never forget.We also appreciated the beautiful spiritual books placed throughout the home — such a warm, peaceful touch. And the elevator made the stay perfect for family members with mobility challenges.Roundtop Mansion is a special place, and the many small extras made it even more memorable. Our family will cherish this retreat forever.

The property is outstanding, with great views. There is plenty of room for people to both gather and have their own space. I highly recommend getting a golf cart because the trails were really nice. We enjoyed seeing all the deer on the trails just before dusk.

Was an amazing location for our large family group. Lots of amenities and space to accommodate all ages, added bonus of being pet friendly.

Our multigeneration family had a lovely time at Roundtop Mansion. After driving up the winding driveway, you look up and there it is! Plenty of room for twelve of us with multiple balconies and patios to spread out. The youth spent a lot of time in the indoor pool and playing games together. The adults read, hiked, explored and had time with family members to catch up. One highlight was a rather explosive thunderstorm that we watched from the "crow's nest" with all its windows! golf cart rentals allowed for some fun field adventures. We enjoyed a few trips into Lancaster for a play, farmers' markets and shopping. There was never a delay in getting a response to any questions or concerns and problems were fixed as quickly as possible. Although the kitchen is small we were able to prepare meals and navigate around each other. Multiple refrigerators gave us adequate food storage space. As with most rentals, don't forget to bring your own sharp knives if you wish to prepare lots of food. Other than that, the mansion is well equipped.
